My knock on Folty is that he’s still scatter shot with everything. Maybe that hint of wildness contributes to his success though.

Carle in. I’m a little bummed we won’t get to see Gomez or Graham.

That’s the 2nd poor throw from Albies saved by Ruiz. The knock on Albies at SS was always his accuracy.

Carle at 95 with a change at 87 that looks usable.

Why was Franco scratched? I think he could be a better bench player than Ruiz

I don't think Peterson profiles as a true power hitter, but if he can get back to where he was in Mississippi in 2016 in terms of XBH, he could contribute as someone who hits LHP well (>.800 OPS against LHP in 2016 and 2017). Problem is he looks to be relegated to playing the corner OF positions (and mostly LF) and that kind of position inflexibility really hurts his chances as a bench guy (and I don't know if he's ever going to hit enough to be an everyday guy). He did start out as a 3B in the Padres' system, so maybe they should let him kick it around the corner IF positions to see if he's at least playable there.

Crick is a disaster out there. He’s the most fidgety pitcher I’ve seen in a while.

Carle batting. The NL can’t adopt the DH soon enough.

Albies ambushes another first pitch fastball. Expect that to be noticed immediately as soon as the regular season starts.

I know it's ST but the rotation looks really solid. Folty especially is doing a great job of throwing strikes and keeping his head in check. Teheran has been really good, too.

Freddie ambushes first-pitches as well and it doesn't stop him from being good. I think he'll continue to be good in that department.

One o the reasons I think we win around 86 games. We have loads of pitching.

I've championed him forever. He's always been more impressive to me than Dansby. As for his throwing, he's always rushed or made care free throws but he's improved so much since I first saw him.

Acuna is really showing that the minors are a formality. He's ready to mash.

Freddie has also shown he can handle the rest that pitchers give him too. This isn't to say Albies will stop being good without first pitch fastballs but it will be something other teams will notice and switch up on him to see how he handles it. And I have no doubt he will.

Seigrist is a soft tossing LHP.

Acuna takes fastball in, check swing fouls off change away, takes fastball up, foul tips fastball in, fouls off breaking ball away breaking into him from LHP, takes non competitive curve in the dirt, hammers fastball off the CF wall.

This pitcher doesn’t have the tools to handle Acuna.
