The mix of actual prospects playing alongside guys like Kazmar is one of the things I love about minor league games. He isn't getting rich, he doesn't have any real shot at MLB, and he can't enjoy the long bus rides. He just likes to play the game.

Inciarte left-groin tightness, nothing serious, #Braves say. Probably out a couple of days.

Radio again talking about Swanson looking much better defensively this spring. If this is true, could be a huge boost. Last season, fangraphs had Swanson as a plus defender despite 20 errors. If his range really has improved, we could have a pretty dang good defensive SS. I don’t expect as many errors this season

I'm trying to slow my excitement because of the sample size, but if Newcomb and Folty are actually improving, it would be a huge step forward for us.
