Albies laying off of soft inside is encouraging as it was one of his AAA holes.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

I have no idea why, but I can’t keep from conflating Greg Bird and Gary Sanchez. I guess they’re just both very non-descript from my vantage.
Anyway::: I’m not too concerned to see McCarthy give up a few HR to the Yankees’ mid-order, but it’d be nice for the Braves’ bats to do anything at all against NY’s fourth starter.

I’d be less surprised with Tanaka, but you’re probably right. Point was less that New York’s rotation is strong (it isn’t), and more that Gray is merely solid, but the Braves are making him look spectacular.

Minter just had a filthy inning. You can tell that batters don't pick up the ball well coming out of his hand. A ton of surprised/late swings. That 90-92 MPH slider is something else.
