Braves will be shopping Ender within the calendar year
Isn’t Pache 20? Has even been past high a?
People need to slow down. Not everyone is acuna. If aa was in charge acuna would not be acuna bc he’s done a full year in aa.
Pache is two years out. No help to the braves to rush guys and supply the big market teams south 27 yo free agents

I think some are going to be very disappointed at how slow AA goes compared to how the Braves traditionally push prospects. I expect this season to be Pache's breakout year but unlikely at the extent of Acuna's, and with how AA keeps saying "I wouldn't have pushed these prospects as fast as the previous regimen", that could very well mean A+ for him for most to the entire season and just a cup of AA ball in the end...at best half the season in A+ and half in AA.
At best I'd put his ETA at mid 2019 to September 2019.
There's not much he can do Acuna wise as the "rushing" has been done and yet he killed it in AA and above (if he continues destroying the baseball we're going to see him either in Chicago or when the Braves come back home for a homestand on April 16th) but his fingerprints are liable to be completely different on the other prospects.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
He hasn't been above Low A, much less High A. Braves should start him in Florida this year and if all goes well, he might spend part of the season in Mississippi. Florida State League is not particularly kind to power hitters, so I hope Pache doesn't get impatient with the changes in his swing mechanics if they don't translate into a truckload of dingers. With Inciarte in the fold, there's no reason to rush Pache.

Why not just let him progress normally from A ball rather than try and rush him by trading a good player on a good contract?
As things stands, not much upside really in bringing him up any time soon unless Inciarte really starts falling off and Pache starts really hitting.
---I see this was not a unique position here. I could have just plus one'd somebody.

Braves rushed swanson. Albies/Acuna dictated their path. We will see if Pache does the same.

Like I said, prepare to be disappointed/surprised. Can't dig up the tweet but someone has already tweeted that the preliminary minor league assignments are already completely different from what the Braves have typically done for a very long time.
If it was AA's choice, he would not have moved Acuna up from A+ ball last year. Heck, I wasn't on here yet but I was on another forum questioning the move big time. I've already swallowed crow on it, the reason why I was questioning it was high strikeouts and while he had been picking it up, he wasn't exactly killing it (yet).
So I heavily doubt that Pache sees higher than the M-Braves this year and at best, it'll be like Riley's assignments from last year.
