I think you have to keep him as long as we're in the hunt for the playoffs (and I don't mean 4 or 5 games back of the 2nd wild card on July 31st). It will just be too hard to replace his production for the rest of the year. I love Soroka and Gohara, but expecting them to be more than a 4-5 starter immediately is asking too much of them, imo. Not to mention it hurts our depth for the rest of the year. Not everyone has the sort of success Hanson did right away. Competing teams simply don't make those sort of trades in season.

Imo, you ride JT this year until we're out of it. Then you don't hesitate to trade him for the best package in this pitching starved FA market.
