Obviously we can expect the offense to regress a good bit. But then you gotta think once the guys like Flaherty, Tucker, and Swanson cool down a bit, hopefully we will get Inciarte and Ozzie going. Then Acuna gets up. We could end up with a respectable offense this year.

Taking two of three from the Phillies and Gnats to start the season. I don’t think you can ask for much more than that.

On pace for 108 wins. Clearly a playoff team.

Yes, that's why me and thethe (yesterday) noted that he'd scored easy on that Swanson hit that Peter got nailed at home. But even Peter scores on that with a better slide.

Big win today, Tucker was a one man wrecking crew in the first inning the last two. That was the key to winning both games IMO.

Yeah Tucker was the x-factor this series. It was looking like a sweep until his home run last night. That gave us our jumpstart

At this point, it looks like PB is the obvious choice to go down to make room for RA Jr. Might change by then, but so far...

I'd be happy if we could finish that road trip 5-4 or maybe even 4-5. Just stay above .500 and I will be satisfied with that road trip. It will be exciting if we are 8-7 or 9-6 with Acuna coming up and still 19 games left against the Marlins.

I doubt anyone would claim PB on waivers as other than catch the ball he doesn't help. He didn't hit last year and isn't so far this year either. Plus he hasn't been a real stolen base threat in years. He can still play CF okay but that's not enough IMO.

Tucker is a rookie that’s happy to be there while Kemp was a pouty veteran with 50 million on his deal. Different leverage.

I saw Kemp strikeout to end the Dodgers loss last night, he went 0-4 in that game and has started slow. While he and Tucker are DH level bad on defense, Tucker has certainly started better this season with the bat.

Both are running positive DRS right now. The joy of small sample sizes.

Is tucker really in the same category defensively as Kemp?
