    Acuna 0-3, bb

On season, 3/28 (.107). Obviously still a SSS, but his 31 PAs are now 11.2% of his total AAA PAs

Never made sense to sign a 3B. Camargo is the perfect kind of guy to have through arb1. Potential 3 WAR guy with room for a bit more.

There are waves of pitching on the farm. Guys line Fried/Wentz/Wilson would be the jewels of many farm systems.

He sucks - Keith Law said so. Can't catch up with a fastball.
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

So what if the Braves keep Acuna down thru super 2? If he is sleep walking and Tucker and Kakes keep raking...what’s the point?

Better defense, better baserunning, and likely a better bat when everything starts to settle out

I'd give Tucker an even longer chance as a left fielder eventually but he's ultimately probably going to prove that he's not an .900 OPS bat lol. I think he's a major league "guy" but as a 2 WAR bat as a starter with about an .800 OPS or bench player.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

I mostly agree, but mostly because I still don’t buy the “Braves competing in 2018” notion.

How many games within the WC on September 1st do you consider competing?

On 1 September? Let’s say within three games.

    Well...

Swanson shouldn’t have been up until mid April of last year. Albies should not have been up until yesterday. Acuna should not have even seen AAA last year, and should have been called up mid April of next year.

Maybe he’s being a team player and intentionally sucking so fix Coppys mistakes of needlessly rushing prospects.

Agree with Swanson. Disagree 100 percent with Albies. He's a special cat. At some point you have to get your nose out of the ledger and look at the player. Most agree Swanson was rushed. No such comments about Albies.

I've engineered the Albies train since rookie ball. He is more of a study in being ready at every level. He struggled at AAA for a quarter of a season and even then he was more ready than Swanson. His timeline is right as far as being brought up. He had nothing to prove in AAA. That being said...he's going to earn a helluva payday soon!
