I get that Flaherty is likely to turn back into a pumpkin soon, but it is going to be really hard for Snit to bench the NL BA leader. Was nice to see Camargo come thru in the clutch, but it will be and should be a bit before he gets a shot at the starting gig IMO

I think he will be playing 2-3 games a week until pumpkin time arrives

In a season where the Braves would need everything to go right for them to be in contention at the end this is certainly a game and start to the year that would count towards that. Good times.

What has really happened is the starting pitching is good again and young players are developing as expected. The pickups like Tucker/Flaherty got us so wins but ultimately it will be that pitching that drives us to a mid to high 80 win totals.

It was a good game thread to read back through. Much better than years passed. You can tell there’s optimism about this team again.

    Great win!

Let’s roll these clowns again tomorrow!

They've beaten up on the Marlins, Reds, Rays, and Pirates. They're 2-6 against us and the Mets. They've benefitted from a cupcake schedule. It won't last.

Does reliever in baseball have a worse job than Blevins for the Mets. He is their only lefty in the pen which means he will pitch about 40 innings this year and will get to face two of the premier LH hitters in the game (Freeman / Harper) about 35 times.
