I see Sims is a starter again, which doesn't make a whole ton of sense if they would like to see him as a reliever at the big league level.

Have to think at this point he is more of an organizational filler until the offseason when he is not brought back....

That could be the case, but I thought the fact he was thrust into a situation last week which for him was unfamiliar was a bit of a miscalculation. In some sense, Sims is a perfect example of why the draft is such a crap shoot. Everyone thought he was going to develop a big fastball, but he didn't.

Correct. May not have been fair to him, but at the end of the day, I think the Braves view him as someone who will never develop into what they hoped to get.

If he can sustain that .500 BABIP the Braves have definitely solved 3b internally.

i've noticed they've been leading off with JB....I assume to just get him as many ABs as possible.

They are rushing Bautista to the MLB team as if they are desperate for 3B help and really think he can play over there.

It may be a terrible idea, but at least it's interesting...I guess.

The haste is honestly the oddest part, even more than the dicey position-change.
