Thats fair, i'd still expect AA to address the pen this winter with the money we'll have so the top guys arent burned out.

Yep. Snitker has made consistently idiotic decisions with the bullpen all year long, but the walks thing is really out of his control. We have a whopping 2 relievers with walk rates under 14%, Winkler (10%, which is not good in and of itself) and Carle (6.5%). When you have exactly one reliever that doesn't walk the crap out of people there isn't much you can do. Beyond that, Carle and McCarthy (9.1%) are the only pitchers on the Braves entire staff with walk rates under 10%, it's freaking pathetic. Our pitching coach should be fired yesterday.

But I do agree having Sam start that last inning was idiotic. He didn’t have control to get the last out in the sixth. Completely fresh pen. Biddle should have started.

    Snit being Snit.

Probably have a Crackerjack box and pulled a wish and see what he should do. I wish he pulled one that said, axe that piece of garbage pitching coach Hernandez.

As much as I've trashed Hernandez, and will continue to do so, I would like to know who is the BP coach?

You have to look at him as well as Hernandez. Hernandez is the top dog, but the BP coach must follow the leads of the PC.His input back to Hernandez and Snitckers is valuable. If he is not communicating the fitness of a reliever, that reliever might should not be used.

Camargo looked great in his limited time. I just don’t get it.

For an organization that is embracing analytics I still don't understand the everyday lineup. Seriously, who thinks having Nick bat 4th is a good idea?

You know, I mocked the Mets and Phils for fattening their record against weak teams like the Reds. Karma sucks.

I hope that when AA fires Snit and Hernandez this offseason that he keeps Seitzer on staff.
