Look at Parsons. Is he a real prospect? He has been very good at AA this season and last. Only 25

Hate this. Just let him start in the minors instead of sitting as the last guy in the bullpen. We already did this with him last year.

No problem with fried coming out of pen. I do wish he would have gotten some relief appearances at Gwinnett first

How many innings is Newk on pace to throw?

Yeah. I thought of that after posting it. A wee bit behind schedule there.

It would be hilarious to see Albies post 5.8 WAR, making tehteh wrong even when he was right haha.

So Newk would need to average 6.1 innings a start to get to 200. That is assuming 32 starts total.

Nice pitching performances from the Rome Braves today. 9 shutout innings from 4 pitchers. 8 Ks in 4 IP for Rangel, who started. Tarnok's streak without an earned run (he's given up 4 unearned runs) gets to 9 innings. Braves had 3 hits, but one of them was a 2-run home run by Lugbauer in the top of the 9th.

PS--I hear Bermudez shorts will be the fashion craze in Rome this summer.

Fried just needs to be healthy. Dude has all the tools. Glad he is getting a chance to get used to the major leagues out of the pen. He will be in the rotation at some point.

Gonna replace Julio when he's traded?
