I don't like the Nats announcers, but they did say something that was interesting to me a week or so ago, Michael Taylor was saying that leg kickers at the plate can get out of whack too easily and he is trying to remove his leg kick due to it and in general, they can either be red hot or frigid.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
I was told that when pitchers were cruising through the lineup 2x they would continue to do well the next time through. Maybe those derpalytics aren’t all they are cracked up to be?
