    Rotation Shuffle?

If the front three stay the same, do we see Gohara debut in NY next Wednesday? You hate to get the lefties back-to-back, but with Monday's off day, that would probably be the time to slot him in and cause the least juggling.

Julio, Folty, McCarthy this weekend then Newk and Gohara (on regular rest Wednesday). Slipping Luiz in there (assuming all goes well tonight) would more or less just push everybody else back a day with Julio pitching against the Mutts on getaway day.

Maybe give Gohara the extra day and having him pitch that final game in New York would be better since you'd be able to split the southpaws up and you'd have JT, Gohara, Folty, McCarthy, Newk at that point.
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

I think Gohara gets one more rehab start

Kinda think that's likely as well, but if he pushes past 80 pitches tonight next week would seem like the ideal time to slot him in without having to juggle much.

He threw 58 pitches last outing, so if you can get him to 75-80 tonight, I think he'd be ready to come back up.

The real question is does clv still think nobody here wanted Flowers due to his good framing?

He conveniently never showed his face in that thread again.

they could do that but it would be better for him to go one more with 90+ pitches

FWIW, I never said "nobody", and the person I was having the conversation with WASN'T among the posters who mentioned they liked the signing because of his framing.

Actually the real question is why do you give a *uck?

If I'm so inconsequential, why on God's green earth do you continue following me around? I promise you you have no chance to blow me.

If that next start is against the Mets, I'd risk letting Wisler have one more start. He seems to pitch well against them. Then send him back to the minors before he gets exposed and maybe we can trade him for something. I know last time I said get him back to the minors others said we need to let him start and build value. Those saying that have way more faith in him at this point than I do. I still think he might turn into a serviceable starter. But we have too much with way more potential behind him to give him a shot, and he does not seem to be made for the bullpen.

This is how I feel too. He is a luxury not a necessity. Let him come all the way back and then consider him ready to come back. He’ll burn an option and let him stay until June if things are still going well with the big club.

But would you rather have Gohara pitch 90 pitches at the major league level as opposed to his replacement?

if he has only gone 75-80 pitches in his rehab he won't go more than that in his first ML start with the increase in intensity and better quality of competition...i suspect they will use Sanchez for the next turn in the rotation not Wisler...from what I've heard Sanchez' injury turned out to be less serious than they first thought

Acute allergic reaction to jogging. He’s much better now that the team has withheld exposure to the irritant.

Presumably we will activate Sanchez when his turn in the rotation comes up and send one of relievers (we are currently carrying 9) to the minors when this happens.

Yes, I mentioned that Wisler might be the most likely to go last night since he is not starting again anyway.

I’m concerned our performance is going to lead to a major overpay for archer

Soroka is the only tor option for me right now. And I still think he’s a great 3 plot strong 2.needs to build innings up and super young.

I thought Wright was a tor option but he has not shown that.

Everyone out on allard right now

Other guys in the minors are in the next wave.

Folty and gohara are still stuff over results. Gohara still a two pitch guy

McCarthy is a good 3 but made of glass

Newk still walks way too many

    Tehran may be done

It looks like a lot of fourth or fifth starters for a team all I on pitchers

That’s a tad of a negative outlook lol. That’s pretty much a “worst case” outlook to me. By the way...don’t sleep on Wilson and Wentz. Lawd....Wilson has a .68 era.
