I think Camargo is at ss to see if we need to hold culberson or not
if Swanson was healthy, I'm betting we see Camargo playing 3B.
Culberson's presence on the team doesn't make a ton of sense.

This was my first thought, too. I think it is a platoon at third right now. And the Giants are throwing two lefties this weekend.
Bautista will probably be up to face at least one of them.

Once Bautista is up, the Braves can officially begin their reign of terror on baseball!
While Bautista as our regular third baseman does not make sense, Bautista taking Culberson's spot on the roster as a PH and DH and occasional starter at third or right does.

I agree with this. I think Bats comes up for the TB series where we have a DH. He likely plays 3B but I think we get another bat in that series with Bautista.
Culberson is probably a great guy but he has no purpose on this team with Albies and Comargo able to back up SS and Comargo and Finley able to play 3B.
As much as I cannot stand the idea of Bautista in a Braves' uniform, he would be an upgrade from Culberson.

I think he will be up for part of the Giants series too given they are throwing two lefties at us. They should probably give Swanson a couple more days off.
Depending on how rested the pen is, I think there is a chance we go to a seven-man pen when Baustista is called up.

To be honest, it's not the worst thing in the world to get Charlie in there today to remind everybody we still have him - if nothing else, other teams might notice and at least take on his money for the rest of the season if he's DFAd when Joey Bats comes up.

If they're serious about the 3B thing, Saturday might be the day. We'll see lefties on Saturday and Sunday then go to Tampa to use him as the DH.
Why is Rafael Belliard playing 3b? I would rather have 67 year old Mario Mendoza in the lineup.
Again, why is he still on the team?
