Winkler is the new Sam Freeman. Poor guy’s arm is going to explode again.

Like I've said at two other places, Mike Soroka is a contact pitcher, and that is BAD when the Giants are EYBS'ing. He has better stuff than McCarthy, but the way things go for the Braves against the Giants at times, he's going to end up doing well for 4 innings, then give up a bloop, a bloop, a bloop, then somehow end up giving up an inside the park grand slam, or an error will occur that leads to all three scoring.

That's literally how a couple of the innings happened. Soft hit, soft hit, then a legit hit after an error. Then it happened to Minter, soft hit, soft hit, then a legit hit.

Then to complete the cherry on top of the sh*t sundae, Acuna is somehow going to hit 120 on EV...on an out, to end a bad sweep.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

Giants are slightly above average at best. They ain’t even making the playoffs.

I jinxed Ender, I mentioned his 20 game on-base streak and it ends the night I did so.

Could you guys hear us yelling at the bottom of the 9th. Our section lost our voices at the end hollering and shouting.

In return, they promise to only get 4 runs in the first 2 innings tomorrow

This is really a sign of a young team. Looking like a world beater and then getting stomped a few games in a row. They are sooo young. They are also just zapped because they came off an emotional sweep of the Mets and came home off a road trip. I expect we get back on track tonight, and probably deal off 4-5 in a row.

I really hope we don’t go “all in” this deadline. Make trades that help us in the future of course, NONE short term. I think we are so talented, but I just don’t see us going much past the first round. We are close though and it’s exciting!!

This happens to every team. Good or bad. We smash outs. They bloop doubles. McCarthy and Folty not having their stuff doesn’t help.

Also not a huge fan of wedging a player not deserving into the middle of a lineup that was rolling. That is not the reason we lost. Just not a fan of it.

Looking at the SSS of acuna's batted balls...
    50.0% GB 47.1% FB 2.9% LD

Gonna have trouble finding grass hitting FBs and GBs even if they're hit hard. Need that LD % up

Normally I agree but some of these smashes on the ground are directly at fielders. Like a few feet either way and they are hits. He's hitting rockets and that's a good thing.
