This is my problem with this team that was masked by our early BABIP luck. Way too many hitters refuse to work counts. It’s painful to watch.
Ablies lack of patience is infuriating.
Hate Ender swinging on a 2-0 count

Team got no heart
Forever Fredi
I'd bench Ender and Ozzie the next game. You have a pitcher that can't hit the zone and so they swing at trash and get themselves out. Pathetic
This is pretty much who Albies is. And while he's gotten good results, pitchers have been taking advantage of it. He trusts his bat control too much so unless it's just badly out, he's going to swing...at absolutely everything. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of his weak contact outs have been on just outs of the zone, where he's trusting his batting ability too much.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
And on the other hand, as long as it's left handers you also can't bench Ozzie as while it went down today he absolutely mashes vs them, and the guys when it's the Rays will be left handers.
But I've been saying in general, that you shouldn't be trying to play everyone EVERY day.

This was a really weird series. We got worked by a not-very-good team but also hit complete lasers all over the place while they blooped nearly everything. It’s really hard to be frustrated.
Gotta step up though.
He’s 21 with very little experience against mature pitchers. It was just a matter of time before they adjusted against his aggressiveness. Now he has to learn to be a little more selective.
Albies is extremely talented. The plus or better hit tool is still there. The plus plus speed is still there. He is still going to be a very good player, even though he isn’t going to be the offensive monster he was in April.
Folks were all over his nuts in April, and calling him pathetic after a few games in May. Pure silliness.

What a buzzkill
I liked what I saw on offense and defense. Missed too many meat balls in the zone for me to be excited. But he’s still way behind in at bats compared to everyone else
I’d still rather learn about comargo
If this was a bench bat and spot starter I’d be very encouraged. 750 ops IMO. Low avg good obp and slug
