Much noise (rightfully so) is made about our tremendous 2015 draft (Allard/Soroka/Riley/Minter/Weigel/Phillips)

But, take a look at 2016 so far:

    Anderson
    Wentz
    Muller
    Cumberland
    Wilson
    Neslony (Just for JPX sake)
    Watts

That is nailing the draft two years in a row. Still too early to even speak about 2017 so hopefully we get some more success out of that group.

    I love morning baseball.

I'll be watching the 3 studs closely: Pache, Riley, and Touki.

Really makes those drafts a success even if they almost all bust because they have trade value we could potentially use to improve the MLB team.

Yep. A+ is eating Moniak alive. He's got a 40 wRC+. Striking out a ton with barely any walks. No power- 0.43 ISO and 0 home runs.

When the Bautista experiment ends, Riley takes over. My guess is around end of June

Need to give the keys to Camargo but in all honestly Bautista hasn't looked bad.

Is that wrong to say? I feel dirty now.

Not to be that guy, but I was hoping it would be Zimmerman that moved up to Florida instead of Muller. Muller looks good, I was just basing that on age. Rome seems more developmentally relevant to Muller than it does to a college pick. My track record of predicting success says they likely made the better call.

That is very un-touki like. 6 strikes in a 7 pitch inning.

"Start hitting?" Man I know I'm keeping it more in perspective but man, "start hitting?" outside of a brutal six game start he's hit just fine there!
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
