I bet you Heyward would have no problem in 2010.

Yeah - The routes aren't crisp but I bet he gets slightly better. His foot speed will recover on a lot of bad judgement. Overall I think he will grade out to be a positive defender for a few seasons.

Culberson has been a bit better. Maybe AA knew something we didn't?

Not so sure you should just look at defensive value. The underlying advanced metrics (UZR and DRS) are pretty good.

Relying on the eye test here, but Acuna’s speed allows him to get to balls most can’t, but his fundamentals are bit shaky. In essence, he’s the Nick-inverse.

Good to see Culberson getting some hits, but if you are going to play him he should start at short. He a plus defender at short, not saying Camargo is bad. But you have the best defense with Camargo at third and Culberson at short. Anyone that watched the Dodgers playoffs and some of Culberson great defense knows how great he can pick it at short.

No idea why we continue to play culberson and Camargo like this. Definitely strange

This has to be Snit, AA knows Culberson and brought him here for his defense at short.

May be a situation to see how well Camargo can play shortstop considering he’s being groomed to be a jack of all positions super utility guy.

On the surface, I agree though. I like those two switched.

This is so amusing the the 4th year of that contract ends up being the best. Not one person would have thought this. Thats baseball...
