Riley still needs a good bit of time before he is ready to be an effective major leaguer, but getting called up before September is starting to look like a real possibility. Especially if we are still in the playoff hunt after the all star break.

I think someone needs to tell Newk that the hitter already has 2 balls when he stands in.. that way he doesn't waste his time throwing all these non competitive pitches.
