Two not-great plays by Camargo that inning. And after I've spent the last week touting his third-base defense.

Just noticed with these new uniforms that Newc switched from 51 to 15. Guess he switched this spring. Carle is 51. I’m slow

He'll be fine. Everyone has a rough day every now and then

Really would like for another 2 out knock here.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

Would've been nice to score one or two more. But still a nice job running up Pomeranz's pitch-count, and picking up one run with two outs.

Yep. Looks like he's getting back into rhythm at the plate. After saying this you know I've probably cursed him.

First real hit but Newcomb got screwed on strike three before then.

Guarantee a brave would've been called out on that pitch

This is the wildest I've seen Newcomb this year.

That triple pitch to Moreland was almost a Foltynewicz frustration-pitch: didn't get the painted-corner pitch for strike-three, come back with a non-competitive pitch in the middle of the plate.

And similarly, the wheels are thus in danger of flying off.

    He's been wild all year.

He just hasn't faced one of the beastly teams of the AL. Teams have just swung at his pitches that haven't been close.
