Also wonder if he was over-throwing a bit, given the 200-300 family and friends his father said were in the stands to see him. Again, he's obviously had issues with walks, but he threw a lot of totally non-competitive pitches both in and out of the zone today.

Let's see if Biddle's reverse splits continue...
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

Suzuki's pop-out looms large, now. This is why I was hoping for a couple more for the Braves out of the last inning; 7-3 or 8-3 would've felt a lot safer.

Safe to say, so far, it's been Bae's day.

I’m trying to like him but he just sucks. Offensively he’s meh and defensively he’s just OK.

    0.5 fWAR in 29 games. Not bad, that's a pace of 2.8 over 162

This should've been Biddle for another inning. Can't burn through everyone.

Dissapointed in Newcomb, I thought he was TOR pitcher that some posters said. You need to pitch longer than that to be an ace pitchers.

Oh well, I hope can keep the lead.

Hard hit ball that hit Moylan and the ball went right to Bae. Bae then threw the runner out. It was all BS luck but it looked pretty.
