If only he was as good as Kaep!

Hard to hate on that guy. He seems like an upstanding person. I root for him. I just worry that his frame is not going to last if he runs the ball.

It's not the type of body, it's the position. QBs aren't built like running backs, they're not short and low, they take less hits and aren't as good at bracing and minimizing impact.

Seriously, if you think Kaepernick is invincible cause he does more pullups you've got no hope. You better hope Kaepernick becomes a pass first run second QB or he'll be in poor shape like every other runnign QB ever.

This has nothing to do with running. I think the league is going to be shocked with how little Kaep is going to run next year. Its about being able to take shots in the pocket. Both Kaep and RGIII are not refined QB's in the sense they can read coverages quickly. That is going to lead ot more hits in the pocket. Kaep is much better suited to absorbing those hits.

Roethlisberger is better suited than either of them and he's looking like he may be out of Football pretty quick.

Well, Rapelsfawker just goes insane with trying to extend a play. You are more often than not better off throwing the ball away and living to fight another day. That is Ryans best attribute if you ask me. I think he does it too quickly sometimes but he is great at not taking losses.

And you don't think Kaepernick has the same mentality? I mean it could change of course, but guys like Kaepernick and RG3 are used to being bigger and stronger and much faster than anyone on the field with them.

What are you talking about? Did you watch Kaep at all last year? He was impressive with how quick he got rid of the football. He isn't on a level of the top QB's with that just yet obviously but he was not scrambling all over the place like RG3 and Wilson trying to make those plays.

I don't know Zito...You are a really good football mind which makes me believe you really didn't want Kaep all that much last year.
