Yea Markus Betts really stuck it to us.
I call him Markus because I think it’s ridiculous to call a grown man a nickname.
The Mets have been back to struggling after playing well for a while, but deGrom is a legit ace. The team needed to play well, including defense and control to have a chance.
If he doesn't go all the way, a chance is still there though because their pen has struggled.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
