Looking at Folty's pitch type this year it looks like he is throwing his sinker less (gets hammered) and his slider more (gets outs). And the results have been amazing so far.

My bad: my totally legal online feed was skipping frames around that point; looked like a take but I don’t doubt it wasn’t.

Just a guess on my part but it seems like Dansby has little in the way of pitch recognition.

His timing certainly looks off since he’s returned from the DL.

Swanson missed his cookie in that at bat. Once he did the walk was the best case scenario. Timing off and is he healthy?
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

The Nationals’ SS looked even worse in his own PA just now.

IMO the trademarks of a good broadcaster (or broadcasting team) is they give me information I don't already have or they present information in a way that brings me to a conclusion I might not otherwise get. That's why the Mets announcers are elite and why ours are so mediocre.
