Allard with 28 pitches through 2 scoreless innings.

Guy might be the rare breed that goes consistently deep into games.

    Wright with zero fastball command.
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

I'll go ahead and say it, although CJ9 stepped ahead, THIS start you can consider very disappointing for Wright.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

Brace yourself for this stunning news—the extent to which Kyle Wright is getting hit is being grossly exaggerated.

This inning compared to earlier innings where it did seem bad was a groundball groundball BABIP inning it seems. Still a very disappointing outing.

This is his first full/real year as a pro, and the Braves don’t need him to be anything for 2-3 years. It’d be obviously preferable if he were pwning; but, as with Anderson’s walk issues, patience is paramount.

Oh look, another groundball base hit off Wright. There was likely at least 4 in his last inning and a third. Silly.

Gonna be a very bad line for him after tonight.

That’s true we dont need him right now but for a guy thats 22 about to be 23, got the biggest bonus in Braves history and a guy the Braves thought was the best player in the 16 draft I thought he’d be better. Still very early of course.

    It was the 2017 draft.

Yeah you’re right. Waters at 41 is looking like a gem though.

Nolan Kingham throwing for Texas on ESPN2. Most projecting him to be a reliever as a pro.
