My understanding of the bill at focus here is that it nullifies the federal controlled substances act regarding marijuana in states that have legalized some form of marijuana. That would end the federal ban in mist if the country. The rest will follow like dominoes. They might ban together and wage a legal war but they will lose.
Another route that I think might interest Trump is that the first step to ending the federal ban would be to have the AG declare it needs to be rescheduled or taken off the schedule. Would Sessions resign? If he refuses could Trumo use that as an excuse to fire him? You know he who would be a good AG? Corey Gardner. He hasn't been a Trump zealot so he could possibly get confirmed and not have to recuse himself.
Trump is going to run wild on Democrats in 2020 like Hulk Hogan over the Dungeon of Doom if he follows through on this.

Legalizing marijuana may have a drastic impact towards reducing the countries dependency on opioids. Aside from my selfish reasons for being pro legalization I think it's a no brainer. Remove the black market and you even push some cartel activity out of the US.
The left is doing whatever they can to not talk about results. Rhetoric is the only thing that matters and they are relying on America being stupid.
Again... Who cares. If he follows through, it's great.

I guess this will be my legalization thread. Texas Republicans voted marijuana decriminalization, rescheduling, and legalizing hemp as party planks.
Young republicans are making these pushes. Old Republicans know a secret they don't want to say out loud. They are old enough to remember when it was openly discussed.

Look at this mother****er right here. This jackass admits to doing cocaine as a teen. Admits to being an alcoholic and was/is addicted to pills like oxycotin. Been to rehab several times. Crashed his car whole intoxicated from pills. Actually got arrested for that one. I wonder what penalty he advocates intoxicated driver's get? I bet it isn't the 1 year of probation he got. You know what drug he hasn't admitted to using? Marijuana. You know what drug many in his family have been addicted to that seriously negatively affected their lives? Alcohol? His stance in that? Should be legal. **** this guy. Done drugs all his life and never did a day in jail let alone prison but wants to lock up others. Other people dont have a 20 million dollar trust fund to pay for lawyers to donate to the judges reelection campaign.
