I can never tire of the Acuna/Albies pic after a win. They are young and you can tell how much fun they have.

Harper is a good player, can hit homeruns, but his defense is horrible and attitude to match. He better turn it around or he won't get what he want. Of course I would take him as long as the team hire me to keep him in line.

Our pitching is scary good and scary bad and like one poster pic'ed, Pepto Bismo, we just can't have it easy but we look up, the other team is either shut out, one or or two and then games they get 8, but they are never pretty because we always think "Oh know here it comes again".

I trashed Julio lately. Well I guess he told me to shut the bleep up after his performance yesterday.

Just my rants. Love you all.

JT at 91-92 is a lot different than JT at 88. With his slider he can be good at 91-92.

Its funny, him an Hanibal Lechter are really good at their craft where they should be lit like it is no tomorrow but get through it. I trash them and they gave me the middle finger. Brandon need to up his craft because I am coming for him.

okay, the temperature dropped to like the lower teens after comment.

not to be funny, I think Super is correct. Folty and Newk would never be here or got the chance.

Five Thirty Eight now has the Braves with a 59% chance to make the playoffs and 36% to win the division. They currently have the Nats ending with 90 wins and the Braves with 89. Getting close to where their projection system will have the Braves winning the division. It was a good weekend.

Not sure. I didn't check it any this weekend. Before the weekend we were running like 3 games behind the Nats in the projected end of season results.

Acuna, Albies, Camargo, and Sims. those are the Wren guys who have played this year.

that said, he could have acquired some good prospects if he had sold off. I don't think that's terribly hard.

    he could have, sure.
but seeing as how our youngest trade chips besides simmons were 1-year rentals, it may have been less impressive.
i was mostly just making a joke, tho. to say the rebuild has been successful solely because of frank freakin wren is just delusion at this point.

I dont think anyone makes that claim except jokingly...but it is fair to point out what was acquired during the rebuild and what was already in the system prior to the rebuild...personally I'm enjoying watching the Golden Wren Era unfold

Hard to tell, but I think the Wren stuff is just a troll. Hard to really understand it otherwise. never won a playoff series, made the playoffs less than half the time, and left a roster that a team notoriously devoted to contending every year concluded had no choice but to tank.

I think Coppy did a pretty decent job tanking despite evidently not being well suited to the GM job and the uh massive cheating. He was heavily critiqued for decisions he made that largely look just fine. He deserved to be fired and the Braves are likely better off without him.

sure, tho i think Cy was more serious than not.
it's also fair to point out that there wasn't much in the system prior to the rebuild.
