Julio is dealing today. Dang.
Julio is dealing today. Dang.
Just realized Julio has a no-hitter going.
Their offense is underachieving greatly, and I can’t put my finger on why. It’s not like they have a bunch of old players due for a drop off. Harper, Rendon, Turner, and Taylor are in the prime of their careers, and Soto looks like a phenom. Zimmerman and Murphy are the only ones in their everyday lineup I can understand major regression from.
In Harper's defense, his BABIP was .216 entering today. Even hitting barely over the Mendoza line, his off value according to fangraphs is 10.1. His def value is downright pathetic though, -6.9
Dansby has been straight trash today.

Lineup the next time we're in the NL:
1. Starting Pitcher
2. Inciarte
3. Freeman
4. Markakis
5. Albies
6. Swanson
7. Inciarte
8. Camargo
It's clear it doesn't matter anymore. Someone maybe should go write on a whiteboard "Markakis #1" though.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
How many pitches do you let Julio chase this? He looks really good right now. I don't want to stretch him too much
Braves walk rate was a little better in May than it was in Mar/April.
It’s been terrible thus far in June. 9% vs 5%

Teheran trying to stick it to his hater.
Julio is still struggling with command against lefties
