We’ve been so aggressive and Flaherty doesn’t swing at the back-door.

Dansby hit it well, just chased a bit too much.

Those are his brief career numbers. 298 babip against righties. He just doesn't hit them well.

    Sigh.

Dansby has been pretty awful too. At least he can play defense

Hard to be mad at that AB. Drove to opposite field. That's exactly what we need him to be doing

I think I'm comfortable with a slightly above average hitter and a tremendous defender. If we can get a huge upgrade sure

Our starting pitching has been superb recently outside of Teheran today. But we won’t win many games over the next few weeks if our hitters don’t get going, mainly Freddie and Swanson.

Of course, Swanson has been squaring it up and has nothing to show for it.

Our ability to strike out with a runner at 3rd and less that two outs this series has been impressive.

If we can get someone who mashes righties and is respectable on D, I'll take the added offense.

That said, I'm not writing Camargo off until the end of July.

Luke Jackson has done pretty well this year in a limited sample. His only bad outing occurred in that weird Chicago game where the pen couldn't get out of the 8th inning.

Glad we pulled Santana. Santana ripped the ball last night and gets pulled in a double switch in the 5th

Perhaps in time he'll improve hitting against righties. It's only his second year, right? If not a Riley/Camargo platoon next year might be good.

Was literally thinking the same thing. Don’t get the irrational dislike for him.

The double switch allowed Jackson to give us 3 scoreless

    LF today...Woof

Culberson and Santana are 0-4 with 4 K and a couple of misplays in LF.
