Just shouting regression every time a Braves pitcher makes a mistake is kind of lazy analysis. Short porch homers still go on the scoreboard, but they don't mean a pitcher is losing it. The Braves may lose tonight, but regression is not the automatic explanation.

To expect an umpire to be 100% consistent on balls and strikes is ridiculous. A lot of factors can influence a call.

Fine. Flowers sat up outside, and newcomb hit the glove perfectly. If you're mad at that pitch, you're problem is with flowers there

Also, Freeman will likely break out of this funk in the near future. He’s hitting .167 over the last two weeks though.
