Every few months I go youtube diving for Maddux stuff. Never have seen this story told by Gammons before. Absolute genius. Now I must go find old Maddux games to see if there were any patterns in his body language after pitches, aside from his signature twist his head to the left and drop obscenities after missing the location he wanted on his pitch.
