The funny thing about PH'ing for Granderson is Biddle is better vs righties anyway and I'd honestly let him bat if no one is on.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
i suppose he trusted his righty hitter splits vs lefties more than Biddle's.
Sanchez got him to stride straight to the plate rather than falling off to the side...expecting a yuge second half from Julion

My guess is he was giving more consideration to his righty pinch hitter vs lefties. But either way I like Biddle vs righties best.
