Nats down 7-0 to Mets. Barring a huge comeback, they will be 1 game under .500. They will have to win tomorrow to be .500 at the break. What. A. Crapshow. (Considering thd talent level)

I guess you are right. This is just depressing to watch. Regression is one thing, but our offense went from absolutely fun to watch....to 2016 ish.

Upgrading 3b might serve as a shot in the arm. I would like to see them acquire Asdrubel, stick him in the 3-4 hole, and slide Markakis in at lead off.
As far as this season goes, this team's best days are behind them. Please don't trade future assets on this sinking ship
