    Acuna (200 PA)...
    .275/.335/.484, 7.5 bb 29.5 k, 0.9 fWAR

    Soto (222 PA)...
    .310/.419/.540, 15.8 bb 19.4 k, 1.8 fWAR

Obviously they're both far from finished products, but Soto has clearly been better so far

for now. also should be noted that DRS hates Soto and likes Acuna more. Acuna has 1.0 bWAR and Soto is at 1.2.

Soto is a DH/1B at 19. pretty sad.

Soto's defense is really, really bad... but his bat looks to be plus-plus. It'll be interesting moving forward!

The Acuna we've seen over the last few games is more valuable than anyone the Nats can throw out, though. But hey, it's a sample size.

One thing Acuna has that Soto doesn't is projection. You look at Acuna and he's still got the slim build of a 20 year old. He's going to add to that frame and get stronger and stronger.

Soto is built like a 26 year old. He's not got much filling out to do. It's one of the reasons why some people wonder if he's older than his purported 19. In fact, if he adds much more to his frame it will probably cause more harm than good.

Soto will not stick in the outfield. If he's 19 and continues to add to his frame there's a good chance he wont stick on the field.

This. I'd think you likely need to sell him high in 3-4 years.

Soto was known for having an absolutely incredible eye and the ability to hit the crap out of the ball. What wasn't expected was for him to completely explode this year which is unfair but this time, we can hold solace in that the Braves have a couple of incredible young talents, even if neither are hitting the ball like him. Just focus on that and not him.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
