Same deal with 9:00. They're not starting unless they just want to go ahead and play in light rain.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

They did trade someone. I’m sure your next post will be to trivialize the trade of a BP arm though since it proves you wrong.

It would have been tough to trade more than they did with 5 hours of notice to the rest of the league.

The Harper rumors came out Saturday. Short notice, sure; but if they were serious, someone would've bit, I'm sure

Rumor was that rizzo had trades line up but the owners nixed it.

    Yep.

    Time wasn't the issue.

The Nats have the best team in the division if they can get healthy and go on a run.

I'd be surprised if they finished third in the division and not surprised at all if they finish 1st.

They're 5.5/6 out with 12+ vs Atl/Phi, at some point they'll go on a run or they'll just stay around .500 all year.

I would. Two teams to pass is a tough ask. 538 has them at 14% to win the division

    Because they’re not dumbasses.

    They traded a reliever though.

Had been batting second, but it looks like they dropped him to third a couple of weeks ago when they put Rizzo in the lead-off spot.

With that amount of talent, they can go on a run at any time. They may not, but it wouldn’t surprise me.

President Clinton is happy to hear it.

They have a 95 win team playing .500 ball and you could easily point to injuries as being a significant factor why.

They might not ever put it together or they could win 15 in a row.

Neither the Braves or Phillies are good bets to have a huge finish so I don't think they necessarily have to do anything ridiculous.

So it appears they will go off in light rain...suspect the reason why is the Marlins only return one more time. Since the rest of the rain I see is light, we'll play.
