I knew he was going to help us when we signed him.

Lol the Phillies have 4 homers in this game and they are down by 11. I love it. That defense is gonna be a problem for them. It is horrific.

I thought Ramos was a savior? Lmao.
Official. Ureña suspended 6 games and fined....too light
Get off my lawn!
Apparently the record for unearned runs in a game is 16. The Mets have 11 and have three innings to go.
Well the 16 unearned runs may be the most without giving up an earned run...The Mets were involved in that game too.

I never said he was a savior, smart ass. Nor is he even playing today. Ramos is a good hitter and won that game vs Boston yesterday for them, had they not activated him yesterday they lose that game 3-1. His two doubles and triple were huge. He had three RBI's and three runs scored. Further, I also mentioned their defense being bad, it caught up to them this game obviously with ten unearned runs on 4 errors.
John Smoltz is picking Philly over us. Much of what I said yesterday he said on MLB Network recently. I didn't go as far as Smoltz as I am hoping he's wrong. Not that he is the only one who thinks so. He seems to like the Phillies pitching better mostly.

No problem. I am more thinking of the overreaction yesterday after I had basically repeated what Smoltz and others on MLB Network had said. Obviously I agree with them on Ramos, but that isn't saying he is savior. The main point is adding him and Cabrera could solidify that line-up that lacked balance offensively. That along with bad defense was their main weakness before adding them and Bour. Now it's mostly just defense. Even adding Cabrera could hurt on defense, if they play him too often at short.
This is nothing that I haven't said myself. Smoltz seems to think the better pitching will win out here. But bad defense can ruin some good pitching efforts. I have repeatedly said the Braves are among the best teams on defense under AA. Philly is just plain bad on defense.
Mets scored 16 runs yesterday, and 22 (and counting) today. Eesh, glad we're not playing them this week.
