Yeah... Touki was so freaking good. I'd call him up and stick with him. I'd guess the front office simply wants to give the kids some time to see what they have and call up the best of the bunch when rosters expand.
Excited to see his stuff. I know I have seen him and he had a power sinker. I don’t think I am mixing him up. But I just don’t know why. He can be long relief or mop up I guess. Touki is scheduled to start another start soon. So he can not be a pen guy.

The only thing I'm guessing is they want to skip Newcomb and even if it weren't for the ten day rule to do so it didn't really match with touki starting. Think touki still returns the 23rd.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

It has everything to do with the fact that Touki can't be called back up yet (and couldn't go if he could since he pitched Saturday). Someone has to start tonight, and he's ineligible. Wright pitched yesterday, Fried pitched Friday, and Gohara isn't stretched out yet.

If I were a bettor, I suspect this has more to do with Sean, not Kevin. They might skip Sean entirely. Until otherwise I'm thinking Touki still comes back when he can.
