    6-2 Arizona!

Bad managing there as they left in the lefty to face AJ Pollock and he hit a three run homer.

Snitker still has his moments with bullpen management, but he's much improved over the last couple of seasons. Something to remember here is that Anthropolous had Gibbons in Toronto and Gibbons doesn't have the baseball equivalent of a Phi Beta Kappa key hanging around his neck. And Gibbons will be available.

What I’m getting at here is that I think you’re irrationally critical of Snitker. You came to the conclusion a long time ago that he was a bad manager and have been banging that drum with never ending confirmation bias ever since. Case in point: you use his minor league managerial record to point to his quality as a manager like that has any relevance whatsoever.

Is he a good tactician? No. Is he a bad tactician? I’d say yes, much of the time. Is that the least important part of a manager’s job over 162 games? Yes. And I think he’s proven his worth at the more important managerial duties, like leading a clubhouse.

Braves will still find a way to **** it up. I think it’s overrated. To get to where we want to go, we’re going to have to beat the best teams.

Well the Dodgers missing the playoffs takes the best team out of the NL picture imo. And since only one team would come out of the AL then the Braves technically just have to beat one of the best teams

i heard the same arguments from posters here defending fredi in the past, i expect everyone here will forget that too later on once snit is replaced. And no im not saying he will be replaced anytime soon, but maybe after next year.

Not many accused Fredi of being a players manager like Snit apparently is and Bobby was.

Snitker really is a poor tactician. That can be frustrating because that is something that could easily be fixed with a little education on the matter. But in regards to his ability to manage players and their different personalities, he might be one of the best in the league. I can't recall a team ever having as much chemistry as this current Braves' club. They seem to legitimately love being around each other all the time. That is extremely important.

They did before that Sept. collapse, he was compared to Bobby Cox a lot when winning. More by announcers than posters though.

I don't recall hearing any arguments saying that Fredi was loved by his players in the same way that Snit is or somebody like Bobby was. Happy employees make for better business. Happy players make for better production.

The assumption early on that he would be like Bobby since he was in the organization for so long but it was obvious after awhile how bad he was

it isn't surprising people have selective memory defending these so called old school managers that are poor at managing bullpens etc. I expect it given the season we've had thus far.

it isn't surprising people have confirmation bias attacking this adapting manager that has 1-2 skills that may be suboptimal. I expect it given the obvious blunders he has made this season with the bullpen.

Wow this is easy! Can I do this every time in lieu of an actual argument?

Edit: I know you're argument is that he is bad at in game management lol. I'm just trollin'. I do think that you are overestimating the cost of that vs. the benefit of the chemistry he brings and the fact that the players love him.

Not really. Fredi kept a good clubhouse but wasn’t really a leader and players weren’t willing to run through a brick wall for him.

They are the best team, but we can just as easily get knocked out by the Rockies in a 5 game series. Braves would probably lose if they had to play the Orioles in the NLDS.

Snit is winning MOY whether you like it or not, or whether he "deserves" it or not. You don't think there are delusional Rox fans just like you who think Black is a terrible manager?
