I don't like him, he is smart in some areas with regard to advanced stats. But he seems to lack a feel for the game and makes moves he shouldn't that too often hurt his team. Colorado manager Bud Black is a very underrated manager who we should've hired but didn't. If we had we'd have a shot to go further this year having both AA and BB.

I'm starting to think that next weekend is the big weekend for the Braves. I wouldn't be surprised if Washington has surpassed Philadelphia by then.

Phillies haven't won a series since sweeping the Marlins the first week of August. That has really helped us obviously.

When I looked back to see they hadn't won a series in over a month now, I was thinking boy they are lucky to only be 5 and a half back. That includes multiple series losses to the Marlins and Mets too.
And the Nats?

Nats still have the talent to put on a run. It would be an extremely steep climb, but I am actually more concerned about them at this point than the Phillies.
