Nah, he had a similar slump back in like June. I do wonder if fatigue is taking an effect on his bat speed though. Swinging through right through low 90s fastballs.

Good news in the upcoming series with Tampa is we miss Blake Snell, who we faced earlier this year. He's been one of the best pitchers in the AL this year, and just went 6 innings and gave up 1 run to the Red Sox today.

Regarding the slumps/offense, this is the Braves 22nd straight game without an off-day. At some point, you're gonna get tired/fatigued, they are human after all. Not defending them not scoring much but just bringing some perspective to it. It does suck Philly lost 2/3 this weekend and we wont gain anything though if we can finish this off.

As frustrating as the offense has been, the pitching has been lights out. I couldn’t be more impressed with the staff and bullpen.

This is true, that's part of baseball, not gonna win every series and play great every weekend.

Last weekend was brutal since we should have won at least 2, at worst 1. But Braves have had their fair share of lucky games this year too.
