It shouldn't have been Luke Jackson, but Touki wasn't pushed much in the minor leagues this year. That was actually the most pitches he's thrown all season. So he most likely was done.
That's what happens today with protecting pitchers.
It also shouldn't have been calling for a high fastball either. No one on this team should throw high fastballs except for Folty.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
