Glavine: managers don’t ride pitchers with a hot hand enough.

Chip: why replace a starting pitcher with a worse pitcher out of the BP?

    Are these guys serious?

BP pitchers on short stints are better than almost all SPs in their 3rd TTO.

Why are these broadcasters still employed?

I have to agree with the three mouth droolers in the broadcast booth. Kapler should have left Pivetta in the game.

I agree, but when your SP is pitching well, you have to hope all 4 are on their game that specific day when you pull them early in a game. I would kept Pivetta in one more inning.

I’m amazed Joe restrained himself from the conversation.

One is the son of a legendary Braves broadcaster. The other one pitched a 1 hitter to give the 90's Braves it's only title.

They've also been going on about that cheat sheet story for weeks it seems.

And now they don’t understand why Dominguez is facing the middle of the order.

To be fair to Glavine, just about every team employs a franchise great as a rotational broadcaster that’s not very good. I think he’s better than most token analysts.

I would have kept rolling with Pivetta, but I like the call to go with Dominguez in this spot.

No. Current success is not as predictive as overall 3rd time through the order penalty. We’ve seen a guy who’s cruising suddenly get crushed. It is a fact.

They are managing this game like a playoff game because that’s what it is for them.

And the other is, inexplicably, in the Braves hall of fame.

Casual fans are ignorant because they hear morons like these guys continually make ignorant statements about the current way baseball is played.
