And in a down year, it's still largely on par with everyone else. If you look at what the conference lost in terms of QBs, shouldn't be that surprising.

One thing is for sure. If Alabama falls tonight, the SEC fan base will disappear.
I picked TCU to win. As did the wide majority of people outside the state of MS. Even Tim Tebow before the game said TCU has a lot more to play for and will be motivated to prove the selection committee wrong. But I guess even if Tim Tebow says it, he's just an SEC homer right?
I also picked G-Tech. Not b/c of motivational issues, but I was fairly confident MS St wouldn't be able to stop that GT running game. If you aren't familiar with playing against the triple option, you generally struggle to stop it.

Either way the committee screwed this up like I said all along.
Ole Miss wasn't the same team after Treadwell got hurt. They just weren't an elite team after that. He meant everything to their offense. I think before that they were right up there in the top 5.
thank you weso1!
Haven't seen Baylor much this season, but does their coaching staff whine to the refs like this every game?
Oh and Michigan State didn't have a reason to play today. So when the blow out is finished, it's okay.
Doesn't make much difference, but these bowl games are home games for way too many teams.
GT is a good team. I give them all the credit in the world. Same with TCU (who I bitched about not making it in the Top 4 earlier in this thread).
That doesn't make Ole Miss or Ms St. overrated anymore than MIchigan St getting blown out Baylor. I'd consider all these teams top 10 (well may be not Ole Miss without Treadwell).
