With Notre Dame barely surviving BC, I'd move Iowa to third in the rankings.

Chopping With The Braves And Rolling With The Tide
I respect your opinions on everything around here. You are level headed and seem like a good person.
In all seriousness how does Alabama deserve their ranking? What have they done to warrant a top 2 ranking right now? Come Tuesday they may not have a win against a ranked CFP team. Arguably the best team they played they lost to at home.
Oklahoma is playing extremely well right now. I'd put them in the top four.
MSU will make it as long as they win out, IMO.
I know it won't happen cause everyone thinks Bama is awesome, but honestly after this week none of Bama's wins will have come against a top 20 ranked team. Bama's schedule is looking weaker by the week. Yes the SEC is tough and there are several quality teams, but there's really only 1 dominant team this year. If Florida loses to FSU, that hurts Bama's schedule as well. It won't happen, but based on their wins and their loss, Bama should get left out if it comes down to a 1 loss MSU, BAMA, OU, ND, or Baylor.
I don't see how the committee can leave a 1 loss Big 12 team out again this year.
But honestly, Notre Dame likely gets knocked out or contention next week @ Stanford anyways, making this a moot point.
I think right now, Bama along with Clemson are playing the best out of anybody in the country. The defense has been outstanding and Derrick Henry is looking like a Heisman winner. They had one bad game. Turned the ball over five time against Ole Miss and lost by six. Bama cannot help the fact that LSU is doing badly right now. They still have one of the toughest schedules played against of anyone this season. Right now, I'd have Clemson at #1, Bama at 2, Iowa 3, and Notre Dame 4.
But really, as long as Bama is in the top four, I don't care where they are. Just take care of business. Starting next Saturday at Auburn.

To say the least, don't know about the decision by TCU to go for two there
Chopping With The Braves And Rolling With The Tide
Really have no idea what TCU was thinking there.
Patterson with a very bad decision to go for the two points there.
Down here in SEC Country, it's sounding more and more Les Miles could be done at LSU.

I just can't in good faith put Iowa anywhere near the top 4. After that beating UT gave them in last year's bowl game. There is no way that slow ass team is that much better than they were when we beat them.
I also struggle to put Michigan St in, because really they should be a 2 loss team if not for a crazy play. I guess my current top 4 would be:
1. Clemson
2. Bama
3. Oklahoma
4. Notre Dame
MSU does have a very good chance to get in, because they get to play a very overrated Iowa team who they will likely beat easily.
thank you weso1!
Extremely doubtful FSU let's him leave. They'll throw more money at him.
They were just in the title game just 4 years ago. And LSU has lost more than 3 games only 3 times his entire tenure. And they've never lost more than 5 games.
They're still a fairly young team, with most of their key players not draft eligible. If Hawkins stays (which it appears he might) that should go a long ways to securing the the OL for next year.
I it would be a super attractive job with a team still loaded with the talent. But you aren't likely to find a better coach than Miles. Not to mention the payouts it would take to fire him and his coaches would be enormous.
