    Hmmm....

With the Dodgers out on Harper could the Braves creep in?!

    Braves sign Harper - 10 yrs - 250+ mil

Trade Inciarte, Allard and Vizciano to the Indians for Corey Kluber

Trade Riley, Wentz and Flowers to the Marlins for JT

Trade Julio Teheran and Adam Duvall to the Reds for a C prospect.

    Let's play some BASEBALL!!!

very good value...the Cutch deal now looks to have been a bit of an overpay

I read in the Braves' Facebook group that Nashville wants a team. I don't think they will get one for the same reason that Charlotte won't unless they are placed in the American League. I live 45 minutes from Charlotte but I wouldn't be a fan of them over the Braves, I've been watching the Braves since before I was a year old and my mom sat me in front of the tv in my brother's Clemson bean bag.

The Braves may not have $12M per year to give Pollock after giving JD $23M.

I'm beginning to join the pessimistic crowd here. This ain't happening, homie. AA might have legit mismanaged this offseason.

LOL, the Reds want Duvall back....why?

It's time for folks to wake up and realize the Braves settled for Markakis because they couldn't afford to give Pollock $12M...just like they couldn't afford Cutch or Brantley.

$23M to JD early in the offseason looks to be a bonehead move now that Pollock signed for half that AAV, and guys like Asdrubal and Mous could have been had for peanuts.

Now that the Dodgers are almost certainly getting JTR as well, I think it's pretty clear there is no impending impact move in the Braves future.

The off season really was this disappointing...and opening day payroll stayed flat or was decreased.

Very likely. I agree here. A move for Joc makes sense still. That'd be a good move and I'd be less frustrated. lol

AA can’t see into the future but he read the market all wrong.

like last offseason, the early signings are looking bad for teams.
it seemed to be assumed that the down market last year was a result of teams holding their cash for this offseason. maybe that wasn't it after all.

I don't know why, but I think we see something happen today. I'm not sure what, but I think we are about to see a flurry of moves and one of them will be made by the Braves. Almost certainly a trade.

The fair criticism is that the 3B/2B/Util market was bloated, while the cOF market wasn't. There was a much better chance of getting a bargain on a 3B/Util solution than there was getting a bargain on a cOF solution.

Either way, this is still a 85+ win team that will compete for a playoff berth with almost zero risk on the roster past this season, so it's hard to get too upset.

Salaries are in decline it seems. MLBPA can't be happy about this.

Things are really picking up today. Only way I can justify the Neck move is if we are in on Machado somehow or another big move.

Brach signed for 1 year $3M. definitely would've liked to see that happen.

This! I was cool after the move was made expecting another big deal to follow and now realizing it's not gonna happen!
