I've now heard it all... someone prefers Mazara and Renfroe over Kepler... wow.... I just can't stop saying wow...
Let's go for a 1-2 (and that's being generous for both) WAR player instead of a likely 2-3 WAR player (as a floor)... great, awesome idea

Renfroe put up an .805 ops last year, not that i would choose him over others i listed. I expect your boy Kepler to improve but he may just end up a .750-800 OPS player at best. I am looking at players with a better track record already and firstly those that hit righties with an OPS over .800 as I said.
Per Passan: “What
@TBrownYahoo
saw from Troy Tulowitzki today dovetails with what a number in attendance told me: He looks fit, he’s moving very well and if he’s anything like he was today, he’s going to be able to help a contender. And for the minimum salary at that.”
Get off my lawn!
lol...apparently on MLB Radio Frenchy said we're in on Harper
probably

I know it sounds crazy and hard to believe but if Liberty Media has intentions of selling at all then Harper would be a really good selling point to a potential buyer. And like I said earlier, AA leaving the WM early to meet with Liberty execs in Colorado is not something I recall the past GMs doing.

Outside of an increase in BB rate and decrease in K rate? What exactly are you looking for in terms of improvement? His improvement wasn’t some minor amount. Projecting a .280 BABIP is perfectly reasonable.
He’s definitely not my top choice, but when deciding between a 25 year old who just made significant improvements in his BB and K rates vs an old guy like Markakis or CarGo, I think the choice is pretty obvious.
Frazier isn’t proven either, but I would be in favor of adding him if the value is right as well.
The Braves aren’t exactly in a position to pick up a sure fire 3 win guy anymore unless AA wants to pay for Haniger.

if Harper is going to give anyone a discount and short term deal then i'd expect that to be the Dodgers, not us.
phillies loading up, ''The Phillies have agreed to a minor league contract with infielder Phil Gosselin, tweets Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philadelphia. Presumably, he’ll head to Spring Training on a non-roster invitation and compete for a bench spot with his new organization.''
