And every team was somehow allowed to spend more than their old cap, or allowed to spend from next year’s cap. I can’t remember the exact details.

I’m sure Boras is hoping the Dodgers don’t get Pollock bc losing the Dodgers as a landing spot is huge.

AA saying that the OF he’s had trade discussions about hasn’t been in the rumor mill. Hmmmm

I'll guess Peralta since he hasn't been talked about much nationally, and nsacpi was the first to stump for him as well.

You're still at 4 gotcha quotes in your sig. Either use smallest font or pick and choose.

I feel like the Odorizzi and Teheran quotes can be retired since they are older, leaving up the other two. Although you might want to pick one of Train's quotes to retire to prevent doubling up on one poster. I think diversification is important. I think the optimal play would be to retire the Teheran post and the Gausman post, leaving yourself with two quotes of two different posters.

Did we set a cap on how many he can have? I think a limit of 3 would be fair. I'd still retire those two, though, so you can leave yourself some room for mid-season additions. You always want to leave yourself some cap space for bad quotes. You never know what can happen.

Can’t imagine what it would take to get Bellinger lol. I’m sure this board would pitch a fit. Obvs the MLB shop guys aren’t gonna have the slightest clue who AA is trading for. Must’ve been someone mistaking the Donaldson signing for him or something

That is strange that there was an option to order a Cody Bellinger Braves jersey lol. How do you get that mixed up if you are typing in Braves players? Bellinger is one of the few I’d back the truck up for. Young power lefty with a lot of control left.

I can’t even begin to fathom how much it would hurt to give up the package required to pry Bellinger away from arguably the smartest team in MLB who also relies heavily on playing the value game. The fleecing the Dodgers would give AA may make the HO look like a solid deal.

Yes Cody is young and apparently is very athletic. But, is he truly an OFer. In 2 years with Dodgers he played 203 games at 1B, 40 as LFer, 82 as CFer, and 10 as RFer. Of his 132 games as OFer, he started only 93. He's made only 3 errors in OF with LF being his best ZR position and has 3 assists as OFer.

Does he fit as a Brave?? IMO he does. All of his offensive skills fit very well especially his SB/CS rate. Would he fill a void in a corner OF position, yes especially in LF.

At what cost remains a question. Does AA back the farm system truck up to the Dodgers, or can he work a "value equals value" deal? I'll let others determine a good value deal.

Encheff what would a surplus value trade look like for Bellinger?

I'm not Enscheff, but by my estimations, he has upwards of 175 million in surplus value.
