    3/25 GDT Fried vs Reds

Eye test tells me Fried is still throwing that flat FA at 94+, but real data will be available soon enough.

    Curve is obviously still legit.

Fried appears to be trying to work the CH in early against LHHs, probably just to work on it.

He then didn't throw a single CH to Kemp, Suarez, or Puig, which is when you'd expect him to throw it.

Got squeezed on to 1-1 pitch on a FA at the bottom of the zone to Suarez, then a grounder booted by Swanson.

Fried's command looked acceptable. Was in/out and up/down pretty much as Flowers wanted. Everyone walks Votto.

Why Inciarte is pulling balls into the shift is a mystery to me. That 40% pull rate from last year needs to go away.

JD smoked that ball for an out to LF. Good PA.

The Reds are using 4 OFers vs FF...with nobody on the SS/3B side of the IF. Crazy. FF struck out.

My question is "How drunk was Donaldson when he went to Cost Cutters?"

Freid had a tough first inning command wise and I think that was mainly due to the rain. It was pouring...

Good to see Donaldson with a double but man is he slow

That’s 2 pissles from JD. Looks like we didn’t need to worry about him being ready to hit.

Slow? He hit a ball 110+ mph off the wall and still beat the throw to 2b. He was held up at 3b because it’s a ST game and the Braves are up by 5.

Fried is the current MLB player I most want to see statcast data on. Anderson is the MiLB player I most want to see data on.
