Signing Gray would moronic. We have an entire major and minor league roster full of back end rotation arms. Even bringing in Gausman was stupid I thought. Need to get a real ace until the other guys are ready or we are at least 2-3 years away from winning anything of note.
I wouldn't go as far as you, but I've never been all that enamored with Sonny Gray either. Had a nice start to his career, but like a lot of under-sized RHPs (especially starting pitchers), durability questions were likely.

Nah, posters on here who are obviously close to the organization have told me otherwise. They know best!

Harper only makes sense if you backload it to coincide with Freeman becoming a FA with an opt out at that time as well.

I'm sure they can agree on a fair contract if he wants to play for the Braves.

    Here’s what we’re gonna do:
    1) blow half the farm on Giancarlo Stanton.
    2) blow the other half on DeGrom
    3) blow the third half on Realmuto
    4) blow the cash on Machado
    5) blow the rest of the cash on Kimbrel
    6) blow some extra cash from Enscheff’s tip monies on an extra LH BP arm
    7) win WS.

I don’t want Harper anywhere near this ball club.

Not that I think it will happen at all, but FF, Acuna, and Harper would match anyone's 2-4/3-5. I'd take Harper in a heartbeat

Harper isn't the only big name we could go after. I honestly think we'll use our trade chips to get a big name and then use money to plug holes. Realmuto, Peralta, Perez, whomever in a trade and a big bullpen arm + on the market.

For those who wanted Grandal, very small sample size, but he's getting booed by his own fans for his horrible NLCS. Errors, passed balls, strikeouts. He's now losing at bats to Austin Barnes who hits about .200.

Good. Hopefully it continues and we can save a little money. I'd still take em

Bellinger is having a worse post season. Fans are fickle.
