    For the Max Kepler fans:

    Maybe he did break out?

That was one of nsacpi's better suggestions. Underrated player that could have probably been had rather cheaply

    Eh.

Twins have no reason to move him. Certainly not to move him cheaply.

Does this mean the Marlins called them to see if they were interested then planted the story? I guess if the price gets low enough, a lot of teams would be back in...

What could they possibly offer them that we couldn't beat? Are they gonna trade Sixto? If they don't, who do they really have that would be more appealing to the Marlins? Moniak and Bohm aren't looking great. Haseley and Medina are.... okay I guess. Romero, Suarez, Ortiz, and Irvin aren't really anything to write home about.

Unless they trade Sixto, I don't really see them having the pieces to get it done.

Phillies have made progress in Realmuto talks, as @TBrownYahoo said. But there’s no word anything’s agreed to, and others (reds, dodgers, padres, rays, braves) remain in mix. Mia prefers to trade out of division but philly has good pieces (sixto, Medina, Romero, Alfaro, etc.)

probably just checking in. but what happened with bohm? he seems fine. moniak is just looking like a dud. haseley is the low ceiling guy everyone thought when they took him. medina is getting some hype, tho. but braves prob have a good number of prospects better than him.

Forgot about Alfaro. I guess he could be a solid piece going back.

I've seen a lot of guys who have soured on Bohm and he wasn't exactly good in his early minors results with a .659 OPS in rookie ball. SSS applies, but I'm not sure he's a top 100 prospect currently.

The Marlins are just arrogant and ignorant at the same time.

Romo fits the profile of what I expected when the offseason began.
